Description

Edwardian silver salts set all in their original box. The salts are manufactured by James Deakin & son, Sheffield, and well hallmarked on the top border. They each have the crown, lion passant and the letter “d” for 1903. There are four salts each weighing 36 grams and three tiny spoons all in silver. The spoons have Birmingham hallmarks. The salt interiors were gold washed originally, now a little worn. The fluted classic urn design is very attractive. The box interior is lined with purple silk and navy blue velvet and is in very good condition inside with normal wear to the outside.
