Description
A French playing card box in rich rosewood with ornate brass monogram panel to the top and quarter round brass edges. Measuring 8 3/4″long x 6 3/8″ wide x 1 7/16″ high. With finely figured rosewood and a pretty key with green snail key fob to match the shell inlay on the lid. The key does lock the box but we don’t recommend that boxes are locked! All in very good condition with strong hinges and polished finish. Typical of the Napoleon 111 era.
