Description
A very small antique carved ivory waxer with finely milled edges. It measures just 6/8″ diameter x 1/2″ high.
With a floral and beaded top, a real delight. Wax is used to coat threads when sewing to help the thread slide through the fabric. This technique is still used today, by patchwork quilt makers.
