A mid Victorian and mother of pearl sewing box which has been sympathetically restored. The foliate mother of pearl inlay is very attractive and the rosewood is beautifully figured.The interior has little turquoise silk covered compartments for tools, and includes a set of six large mother of pearl thread winders and six ivorite reels.The lock is fully working with a key.
