knobs

We provide the highest quality authentic replicas of 18th and 19th century very small knobs for antique restorers and collectors worldwide.
Restoring for public and private collections often means producing non-standard items. In addition to the standard range, many knobs can be hand turned and manufactured as bespoke items, to match your original knob.
Materials used include bone, horn, brass and hardwoods such as box, ebony, fruit wood and rosewood.
Antique ivory, mother-of-pearl, turtle shell and some of the rarer hardwoods are also used. However, these supplies are restricted by what is available as recycled material. Sizes are less than 1″ diameter, and quantities available are usually very limited. Export restrictions may apply.
All items are normally repaired using materials of the same date, from antique sources to comply with CITES regulations, and authentic historic tools to replicate the original tool marks.
Please attach a photo with your email enquiry & protect your item with strong packaging if posting to us.
