Description
An antique French mother of pearl needle book with the place name Royan ? This is in abalone shell and measures 2″ high x 1 3/4″ wide and is naturally slightly curved. With lovely rippled irridescence all over. Inside lined with a salmon orange fabric with a tiny envelope pocket. It has removable needle “page” leaves. The hinge is dark red velvet. A beautiful small souvenir for the sewing box.
