Description
A mid Victorian tortoiseshell tea caddy in superb condition. It is polished to a high shine and is ready for display. This single compartment small caddy is just 4 1/2″ x 3″ x 3″ and has a serpentine shape. With silver escutcheon, silver coloured stringing where jointed, and original matching ball feet. Sadly the lock no longer works. There are remnants of the original lining inside and the lid is lined with purple silk velvet.
