Description
A fine victorian burr walnut writing slope with gilt mounts, the interior with ebony edgings and original blind embossed velvet slope, behind which is a secret letter compartment. The interior compartments are mahogany lined, with a working key, and a cut glass pair of ink bottles. The letter openers and pen are of the period and sit inside the lift out tray. It measures 10 3/8″ x 8 1/4″ x 3″.
