Description
A mother of pearl thread reel engraved flower on a bovine bone base. From the Victorian era, when these graced the little compartments in antique sewing boxes. Measures 1 1/4″ x 1 1/2″ high.
Very intricate carving possibly with an ornamental lathe. The underside has a chip at the back of the pearl but its still sound so do not worry. Please see the photos.
