Description
An antique scissor set, made in Sheffield by the respected George Ibberson & co of Sheffield. There are three matching, graduated embroidery scissors in the original black leatherette case. The case is a little worn but enhanced by gilding and bearing the initials “C.W.” The case measures 7″ long and the scissors, 4″, 4 3/4″ and 5 3/4″ long. The handles are milled to give a pretty sparkly effect. Each scissor is stamped G Ibberson & co with the violin trademark, and proudly boasts “Made in Sheffield” on the reverse. The scissors are in excellent condition for their age and ready to use.
