Description
A Chinese carved nest of four tables, very convenient for smaller rooms. The antique hardwood is a richly coloured Chinese rosewood species finished in a black lacquer. Each table is carved all round with intricate foliage and berry friezes. The tables have bamboo detailed legs and stretchers. The table set dates from the late 1890’s, they are well polished and in good condition. The largest table measures 19 1/2″ wide x 28″ high x 14″ deep. The smallest table measures 12″ wide x 16″ high x 8 1/2″ deep.
