Description
A small circular box with neo classical decoration from the nineteenth century. The painted surface decoration has scraffito motifs around the edges. The painted surface is slightly worn showing the layers of paint which is attractive. It shows similarities in style to some Henry Clay tea caddies. However the rebate on the top edge is similar to Victorian boxes.
It measures 5″ diameter x 3″ high.
