Description
A lignum vitae string box, figural beehive shaped. It stands on four acorn ivory feet. Measuring 5″ high x 4 1/4″. The ivory ring “door” to the beehive allows the string to be dispensed. The top of the beehive skep unscrews from the base with ease. All finely turned and with a good even nut brown colour.
The steel string cutter on the base is very sharp. A substantial decorative piece which displays well.
