A silver coloured pencil holder, but not hallmarked. With a Georgian design engraving on both sides. This is 3 inches long x 3/8″ wide. With a little hook to attach to a chatelain or similar item. This is typical of pencil holders made by Francis Webb in Birmingham at the Pencil case works, Great Hampton street, Birmingham. He was productive from 1889 – 1932. A nice item to include in a writing slope.
