Description
A taxidermy worked hawksbill turtle from the late Victorian era. The shell measures 32″ long. From the bill to the tail is 40″ long or 101cm x 68cm. The colouring and figuring are very decorative. The eyes appear to be mother of pearl. The sutures are all intact but it has obviously had a very long life with tiny losses and dings. The price does not include delivery. For sale to the UK only.
