Description
A Thomas Turner “Encore” scissor set boxed. All are marked T. Turner & co and Sheffield England. The scissors are 5 1/2″, 4 1/2″ and 3 7/8″ long. All with very sharp, good clean cutting steel blades. This matching set sits securely in a fitted box lined with green velvet. The outside of the box has faded now on top, but still has the green colour underneath. Box has a good snap shut clasp. The scissors are tarnished with age, probably Edwardian. SOLD.
