Description
A Tunbridge ware box with floral and geometric decoration to the top. This has been re polished and so shows the veneers to full advantage, mahogany, rosewood, ebony and many others. There are no missing tiny tiles. The lining inside is silky cedar wood. This size would be useful to house a pack of cards, jewellery or keys perhaps. It measures 6″ x 3 10/16″ x 2 1/4″ and dates from the late Victorian era.
