Description
An antique miniature scent bottle from the Edwardian era. This measures 2 1/4″ high x 1 1/2″ diameter, small enough to fit into many sewing boxes. The glass is beautifully cut with a diamond border and a circle of rays. The silver top is fully hallmarked with JAW & Co for J.A.Wylie, London, 1908. The marks include the lion rampant and date letter “n”. Inside the screw on top is the original tiny glass stopper. All very tactile, with normal wear and charming for the collector.
