Description
A small Wiltshire walnut chopping board, measuring 12 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ x 14/16″ thick. Finished with care. There are only two available of this size.
The walnut is locally sourced from a tree grown in Lacock village which is actually American black walnut. Records show this tree was planted in Victorian times. The tree was planted by the photographer Fox Talbot. It has been carefully finished with several layers of food friendly oil. The colour is deep warm brown and the figuring is beautiful. There are shallow finger holds recessed at each end of the board.
